On Saturday, December 27, The Agency Steamboat Springs and SBNY hosted an evening of shopping, sipping, and community connection at the Steamboat store, raising $22,400 in support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Colorado. Friends, clients, and neighbors joined for curated experiences, knowing every dollar of merchandise sold would be matched and donated directly to local youth development.
Sales at the event reached $11,200 in just four hours. True to their commitment to community impact, both The Agency Steamboat and SBNY matched that amount, resulting in a collective contribution of $22,400 to the Boys & Girls Clubs.
“Steamboat is a place where people genuinely show up for one another, and this event was a reflection of that. Partnering with SBNY allowed us to create something that felt festive, local, and purposeful, while directly supporting an organization that has a lasting impact on kids and families throughout our region,” said Chris Paoli, Managing Partner of The Agency Steamboat.
“Community has always been central to who we are at SBNY, and hosting this event with The Agency Steamboat was a natural extension of that. The response from the Steamboat community was incredible, and we’re proud to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Colorado during a season that’s about connection and giving back,” said Lauren Franko, co-founder of SBNY.
Food and beverages were provided by executive chef Collin Kelley of Primrose and Cypress, who recently announced his upcoming market and dining concept at Steamboat Basecamp on the west side. Between shopping and conversation, guests also took turns on the in-store ski simulator, adding a distinctly Steamboat element to the evening. DJ Katie McLaughlin provided live music for the evening.
“We are incredibly grateful to SBNY, The Agency Steamboat, and Collin Kelley for choosing the Boys & Girls Club as the beneficiary of this special shopping event,” said Kelly Landers, Development Director, BGCNWC. “Community partnerships like this are the heartbeat of our work; they help us keep our programs strong and our kids supported every day. When local businesses and community leaders step up, they are investing directly in the future of our Valley, and we cannot thank them enough."
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Colorado serve youth across the Yampa Valley, with clubhouses in Steamboat Springs and Craig—and a new South Routt location opening this January. The organization’s mission is to enable and inspire young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Through after-school programming, summer camps, and engaging activities, the Clubs provide safe, positive environments where kids build confidence, leadership skills, and meaningful relationships.
